I'm really starting to think that we have a resident creeper here in my town, or if not, then we have some sort of haunted ice cream truck. Ever since I moved in to this place I've heard the ice cream truck at odd hours of the night. And let me tell you, it's pretty creepy when it's dark and you're alone.
I understand when it's 7pm and dark out that you could still get some kids to come out, because it's summer and you know, ice cream is great. But I routinely hear this truck at 9:30 or later and it creeps me out. In fact, I just heard it about ten minutes ago and it's after 10pm now. I'd also like to point out that I've only physically SEEN the truck once. It usually sounds like it's eerie music is floating just out of reach.
So, is there a scary clown driving the ice cream truck? Is there a ghostly spirit who likes to play with the annoying music device? Or is there some weirdo trying to lure kids out of the house at night? Or just an honest business man looking to make a buck? You decide.
Note: Searching for ice cream truck in google images presents a surprisingly diverse array of results. Additionally, googling ice cream truck clown is not a good idea unless you enjoy insomnia.
More troublesome still, is another item I found in my search for ice cream images. I won't get credit for being timely about this news, but apparently when Casino Royale came out in 2009, Daniel Craig was immortalized as an ice cream pop. Yes, that's right ladies and gentleman, you can actually consume the head and torso of Daniel Craig. And a very nice looking torso at that.
It's certainly one of the more ridiculous edible things I've ever seen.Of course the hilarity is emphasized by the blond model in the background attempting to lick Daniel Craig the ice pop. Only the British.... You can see the article here.
